How To Get Here
Heading North or South on US RT 1 is one of the easiest ways to get to Orient Maine.
US RT 1 passes through Orient heading to Weston for the scenic turn out stop. To witness all that water in the Million Dollar View.
Orient Maine is home to a port of entry for immigration and customs.
Parked on the International border with Canada, both countries have a common interest to police the well defined line. Traffic in and out from Canada is another option in travel.
You could head up the old Bangor Road, US RT 2A and come over to Orient from Haynesville. Whatever town you settle your vacation traveling GPS coordinates on, you will enjoy the one by one rural Maine flavor.
Plan like a sea cruise to hit more than one location in Maine.
Collect all t-shirts) Orient for the waterway lakes and Weston for the views of the water. Haynesville for the hunting the wood trails, paddling the Mattawamkeag River.
